COPS AND CRIME

COPS
The cops in San Antonio took a beating today. One, who was investigating a burglary got overpowered and tied up. Another was run over by some burglars. A third was attacked and beaten during a traffic stop. I’m happy to report that the cop shot the sonofabitch, who is now in the hospital.

The other day a guy turned and attacked pursuing cops and was zapped by a taser. The dude, who had a heart condition, died despite attempts to save him by the same cops who were chasing him. Now the family wants to sue the cops. It’s a shame that their son died, and that he was stupid enough to attack a cop, but fuck them. I mean, what do they expect the cops to do? Let the dude attack ‘em? Pfft. Dumbass. I call it survival of the fittest. Next please.

CRIME
I am so sick of crime. I really am. I am even more sick of laws that allow people to get away with the shit they do. The other day the State of Texas passed the Castle Doctrine. That basically gives me the right to use deadly force as a first resort if someone breaks into my house. In other words, I can shoot first and ask questions later; all without having to worry about being sued by the family of the dead dickhead.

There have been a rash of home invasions [being reported] lately around town. The last one was about 5 miles from here, a pretty decent neighborhood. It worries me. Worries me enough that I’m going out to purchase myself another shooter in a few days. I’m torn between a .45 and a 9MM. I like the stopping power of a .45, but the mondo magazine of a 9MM. Anyway….

Things would be different if I was king, that’s for damned sure….

Rule #1:
If you attack someone with a deadly object (knife, gun, bat, 2x4, rock, etc) or attempt to do them serious bodily harm, you get the death penalty.

Rule #2:
If you sexually molest a person under the age of 18, you get the death penalty.

Rule #3:
Three violent felonies would get you the death penalty.

Rule #4:
Being captured after a high speed chase with the cops would automatically earn you an ass kicking.

Rule #5
It would become a felony punishable by 1 year in the state pen for a public servant not to answer the public’s questions in an open forum following a criminal accusation.

Rule #6
Public servants would receive life in prison for embezzling money or stealing citizens' property.

I could go on, and on, and on.
